Product overview
LiDAR S1 is a 192-line, single-photon (SPAD) semi-solid-state LiDAR built for series-production ADAS and demanding robotics. It pairs a 300 m detection range with an automotive-grade ASIL-B design and a dense 1.53 million points/s point cloud — long range, high resolution and proven reliability in one sensor.
Why engineers choose S1
- 300 m range, single-photon sensitivity — dToF single-photon receiver detects even 10% reflectivity targets at 200 m, giving you the reaction distance highway ADAS needs.
- 192 lines · 1,536,000 pts/s — 0.15°×0.13° resolution produces a dense cloud for confident mapping, classification and small-obstacle detection.
- 120° wide FOV, semi-solid-state reliability — a low-speed (150 rpm) rotating-mirror architecture means no fragile high-speed spinning assembly — automotive-grade durability with a wide field of view.
- Functional-safety ready — ASIL-B rated and Class 1B eye-safe, designed to drop into safety-critical platforms.
- Built for the field — −40~85 °C operating range, IP67 & IP6K9K sealing, 9~32 V input at just 10 W.
- Clean multi-sensor fusion — 1588v2 PTP / 802.1AS gPTP / PTP-Master time sync and dual-echo, anti-interference output for rain, dust and multi-LiDAR scenes.
- Fast to integrate — C++ & Python Driver SDK plus ROS/ROS2 SDK, pcap record/replay, IMU motion compensation and the LeeminentView visualizer.
Where it fits
Automotive L2+/L3 ADAS, logistics & industrial AMRs, and construction/engineering machinery — mapping, localization, recognition and obstacle avoidance.

Development kit, SDK and integration support
This product page is for teams that want a practical LiDAR S1 evaluation and development kit, not just a loose sensor. The kit helps you bring S1 into your own vehicle, AMR, robot, mapping platform, or industrial perception system with the hardware and software pieces needed for first integration.
- SDK resources: C++ and Python Driver SDK, ROS/ROS2 SDK, PCAP record/replay workflow, point-cloud visualization, and IMU motion-compensation support.
- Secondary development support: Rogersense can help with driver adaptation, network setup, PTP/gPTP timing, point-cloud parsing, calibration workflow, gateway integration, and customer-specific configuration.
- Project support: You can purchase the development kit and integrate it in-house, or ask Rogersense to support a larger subsystem, navigation reference design, or complete machine-development project.
